Purpose Statement
The purpose of the WCEC is to create an accepting community of people with similar interests to meet, discuss, and play video games on campus with each other. It will give students a place to express their interests with like-minded individuals where they can cultivate and grow their interests and skills together.

Rocket League
While Wilmington College waited for check ins, George Mason University failed to do so leading to an automatic forfeit. Leaving Wilmington College the winners by default.

Overwatch
Game 1
The opposing team forfeited because they were late to check ins.
Game 2
Round 1 The enemy team is the first secure point in the flashpoint match. Wilmington College manages to get a team wipe and secure the point the point while the enemy tean had secured the point at 77%. Pinky on tank hits a huge shatter ultimate with Reinhardt securing three kills. however, unfortunately Wilmington College loses the first point the score now is 0–1. Round 2 Enemy team secures the point first in round two. Wilmington College gets a team wipe at secures the point while the enemy team had 52% on the board. After a grueling team fight, Wilmington College still manages to hold onto the point and go into overtime in round two. Enemy team secures the point when Wilmington College has 99% scored. Unfortunately, Wilmington College loses round two of game one score now is 0–2. Round 3 The enemy team is the first to secure the point. After two growing team fights towards the point Wilmington College fortunately lose this round three the score is 0–3. Wilmington College lose this game.
Game 3
The enemy team is the first secure the robot and begins pushing their wall. The only team manages to get a team kill on Wilmington College, and secures the first passage point. While Wilmington College fought commendably they unfortunately lost game 3.

Game 1
Hardpoint Enemy team is the first to eliminate Wilmington College and caps the point first. Wilmington College briefly takes the point but then loses it. The score now is 4-103. Wilmington College takes the point. and holds it for a short moment the score now is 26–185. Wilmington College loses game one of the night, the score is 26–2 50.
Game 2
Search and Destroy Round 1 Trapp plants bomb, and meeting you eliminates first with three kills leading to a swift defeat for Wilmington College in round one. 0-1 Round 2 Enemy team has the bomb first. Grinch is the first to get a kill. Wilmington College is swiftly defeated. The score is 0–2. Round 3 Trapp grabs the bomb first. ATS SWEETZ gets the first elimination and follows that up with another elimination. Justhandme is eliminated followed by three more eliminations. The score is 0-3. Round 4 Two players from Wellington College are eliminated. ATS SWEETZ gets three eliminations before being defeated. The score is 0–4. Round 5 Trapp grabs the bomb first but is then eliminated. ATS SWEETZ get an elimination. Two go down from Wilmington College followed by ATS SWEETZ. The score is 0–5. Round 6 Enemy team grabs the bomb first. Grinch last one standing, but is swiftly defeated. The score is 0–6. Wilmington College loses game 2.
Game 3
Overload Enemy team gets the first elimination and secures the point. Enemy team scores first followed by another point. At halftime the current score is 0–4. Coming back from halftime enemy team, secures the objective and gets the first elimination. Wilmington College briefly gains the point for a moment, but then swiftly loses it. Wilmington College fought bravely, but unfortunately lost game 3.

Fortnite
Game 1
Wilmington College lands at Painted Palms and begins looting for materials and healing items. Rotating from Painted Palms, Wilmington College decides to bush camp to increase their chances of winning. Wilmington College jet packs to Circle. AKACookieKiller and Qookie are eliminated mid-flight. Wilmington College places 24th in game 1.
Game 2
Wilmington College lands at Painted Palms and begins looting for materials and healing items. Wilmington College is swiftly defeated by the enemy team that won game 1. Wilmington College places 38th in game 2.
Game 3
Wilmington College lands at Painted Palms and begins looting for materials and healing items. Wilmington College begins to rotate out of Painted Palms. In Classified Canyon, Wilmington College engages in a box fight but unfortunately loses. Wilmington College places 25th in game three.
Game 4
Wilmington College lands at Painted Palms and begins looting for materials and healing items. Qookie fires warning shots and takes some damage. Rotating into classified canyons, unfortunately Wilmington college lost a team fight. Placement: 33th place.
Game 5
Wilmington College lands at TipTop Terrace and begins looting for materials and healing items. Wilmington College engages in a quick fire fight, but decides to retreat. Rotating into WonkeeLand. Right outside of Clawsy Lodge Wilmington College retreats from a fight. Moving into Latte Landing, Qookie knocks an opponent. Wilmington College attempts to jet packs into a circle. AKACookieKiller is knocked followed Qookie. Wilmington College places 20th in game 5.

Game 1
Game one Wilmington punched first.
Round 1: Wilmington wins 1 to 0
From there, the match became a back and forth chess match. Wilmington strung together key rounds in clutch moments, showing composure and coordinated site takes.
Round 3: 2 to 1

Round 6: 4 to 2
The Quakers were finding rhythm. Utility usage improved. Crossfires tightened. Communication sharpened. But Counterterrorists responded with a late first half surge.

The second half turned into a momentum avalanche. After the side switch, the Terrorists rattled off six straight rounds.

Despite a competitive first half and flashes of strong execution, Wilmington ultimately fell in Game 2.

Game three was a storm. From the opening pistol round, the Counterterrorists seized full control of the map and never loosened their grip. Wilmington searched for openings, but every site hit was met with stacked defenses, sharp rotations, and clinical crossfires.

By halftime, Wilmington faced a 12 to 0 deficit. The first half was defined by stalled executes, disrupted economy, and an opponent that punished nearly every mistake. Entry duels did not fall Wilmington’s way, and without early picks, site control became increasingly difficult to establish.

Wilmington College Intro to Esports Fall Guys Tournament Recap
The beans were flying and the chaos was immaculate inside The Underground as Wilmington College Esports hosted its Fall Guys Tournament. Six regular rounds separated the contenders from the crown chasers, and from the very first dive, it was clear this one would be competitive. Regular Season Standings Tyler dominated the early portion of the tournament, finishing the regular rounds with an impressive 34 total points, showcasing elite consistency across multiple maps. Erik followed with 26 points, while Logan added 25 of his own. Braylon and Kaiden stayed within striking distance as the standings tightened heading into playoffs. The top six point earners advanced to the playoff bracket: Tyler Erik Logan Braylon Kaiden Carter Playoff Chaos Once the playoffs began, the tempo shifted. Every jump, grab, and dive mattered. Kaiden elevated his play when it counted most, exploding for 32 playoff points and securing the tournament championship. His performance combined smart positioning, clean movement, and clutch decision making under pressure. Braylon finished runner up with 21 playoff points, showing resilience throughout bracket play. Erik added 11 playoff points to round out a strong overall showing.

Rocket League
Game 1
The enemy team opened the scoring with an open net goal at 4:55 to take a 0-1 lead. At 4:31, they scored again despite defensive efforts from GMONEYBALLA1 and HUGESADY42, extending the lead to 0-2. GMONEYBALLA1 responded with a half-field shot at 3:34 to cut the deficit to 1-2. RADAM followed with an overhead goal at 3:05 to tie the game 2-2. The enemy regained the lead at 1:50, making it 2-3. With 0:44 remaining, RADAM scored an off-the-wall shot to even the score at 3-3 and force overtime. The enemy team secured the overtime winner at +0:36, and Wilmington College dropped Game 1, 3-4.
Game 2
The enemy team scored first at 4:44 to take a 0-1 lead and followed up at 4:33 despite an attempted block from HUGESADY42, making it 0-2. RADAM scored an open net goal at 2:21 to bring the score to 1-2. The enemy answered at 2:02 with another open net goal, extending the lead to 1-3. HUGESADY42 added an open net goal at 1:17 to make it 2-3. The enemy scored again at 0:22 on an open net and added another with six seconds remaining to secure a 2-5 victory. Wilmington College fell in Game 2.
Game 3
RADAM opened the scoring at 4:29 with an assist from GMONEYBALLA1, giving Wilmington a 1-0 lead. The enemy tied it at 4:06. RADAM scored again at 2:31 on an open net to regain the lead at 2-1. With 20 seconds left, the enemy tied the match 2-2, sending it into overtime. At +0:16, HUGESADY42 scored the overtime winner to give Wilmington College the victory.
Game 4
GMONEYBALLA1 scored the first goal at 2:13 with an assist from HUGESADY42 to take a 1-0 lead. With 20 seconds remaining, RADAM scored off an assist from GMONEYBALLA1 to make it 2-0. Wilmington College secured the Game 4 win.
Game 5
The enemy team scored first at 3:54 despite an attempted block by GMONEYBALLA1, taking a 0-1 lead. HUGESADY42 tied the game at 2:12 with an open net goal assisted by RADAM. HUGESADY42 then scored again on an open net, assisted by GMONEYBALLA1, giving Wilmington a 2-1 advantage. The enemy tied the game with six seconds remaining, forcing overtime at 2-2. In overtime at +0:54, HUGESADY42 scored the game-winning open net goal to secure the series victory for Wilmington College.

Overwatch
Game 1
In Round 1, Pinky secured the first elimination of the match. However, Wilmington College lost control of the point at 0 percent. The enemy team earned a triple kill led by Vendetta, resulting in a team wipe and a Round 1 loss.
In Round 2, the enemy team captured the point first and pushed Wilmington College back toward spawn during the second team fight. Despite a strong effort in the third fight, Wilmington College could not reclaim the objective and fell in Game 1.
Game 2
In Round 1, Wilmington College attempted to capture the objective on offense but was unable to secure control through multiple team fights. They touched the point in the final fight but were unable to earn progress on the scoreboard.
In Round 2, after another competitive fight near the objective, Wilmington College was unable to secure the win and dropped Game 2.
Game 3
In Round 1, Wilmington College lost the point first but forced overtime before ultimately dropping the round.
In Round 2, Pinky delivered a strong ultimate with Mauga, helping Wilmington claim the point and even the momentum.
In Round 3, the enemy team secured the point first, but Wilmington responded and regained control at 33 percent to 67 percent. After a hard-fought battle, Wilmington College secured Round 3.
In Round 4, the enemy claimed the point first. Despite another strong ultimate from Pinky on Mauga, Wilmington College was unable to secure the final push and lost Game 3.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7
Game 1
The enemy team controlled the opening Hardpoint and built an early lead. After technical difficulties, Wilmington College captured the point at 33-72 but quickly lost control. Wilmington regained the objective at 76-189 and again at 87-234. Following an intense firefight, Wilmington captured the point once more to bring the score to 115-249, but the deficit proved too large to overcome.
Game 2 – Search and Destroy
In Round 1, Wilmington College fell in the opening Search and Destroy round.
In Round 2, two Wilmington players were eliminated early, leaving BK the dog as the last remaining player. Bkthedot secured an elimination but was eliminated shortly after, resulting in another round loss.
In Round 3, two Wilmington players went down first. trap secured two eliminations, leaving ATS as the final player alive before being eliminated.
In Round 4, Wilmington College battled intensely but could not clear the objective.
In Round 5, Wilmington opened with two eliminations that snowballed into a round victory.
In Round 6, Wilmington fought hard but was eliminated.
In Round 7, the enemy team held a corner effectively, and Wilmington dropped the round.
Final Score: 1-6
Game 3
The enemy team secured the first three objectives before Wilmington captured their first point heading into halftime at 1-4. The enemy extended the lead to 1-6 before Wilmington rallied with two additional objectives to make it 3-6. However, Wilmington College ultimately fell in Game 3.

Fortnite
Game 1
Wilmington College landed at Painted Palms and gathered heals and materials before rotating toward the circle. The team entered a build fight during rotation and was eliminated. Wilmington placed 18th.
Game 2
Wilmington again landed at Painted Palms and gathered resources. Tez fired warning shots at an enemy team before a teammate was eliminated. Yuckkid played defensively and bush camped but was ultimately eliminated in the storm. Wilmington College placed 9th.
Game 3
The team landed at Painted Palms and secured materials. Tez and Qookie eliminated an alien boss and secured the Chug Jug before rotating from Painted Palms to Sandy Steps. Wilmington College placed 7th.
Game 4
Wilmington landed at Painted Palms and gathered materials. Qookie took an early fight and was eliminated, but Yuckkid retrieved and used the reboot card to bring Qookie back. The team rotated toward Sandy Steps and engaged in a build fight before using jetpacks to rotate into the circle. Both players were eliminated in the storm. Wilmington College placed 5th.

Rocket League
Game 1
Despite a strong defensive effort, including a double block by grinch and radam, Wilmington College fell 0-2 in Game 1 as their defense was ultimately not enough to slow down the opposition.
Game 2
radam scored the first goal of the night to give Wilmington early momentum, but it was quickly answered by a counter goal from SNIP3R ASSIAN. Sauzey7317 later found the net to make the score 1-2. radam delivered in a big moment, scoring again to send the match into overtime. In the extra period, NFC_halsty capitalized and scored the game-winner, ending the round 2-3.
Game 3
NFC_halsty opened the scoring in Game 3, and radam followed with an open-net goal to secure additional points. Sauzey7317 added an overhead goal assisted by NFC_halsty. Despite solid defensive rotations and strong teamwork, Wilmington College was unable to secure the win.

Overwatch
Game 1 – Control
In the opening Overwatch match of the season, risenphoenix secured the first elimination, setting the tone early. pinky followed with a push elimination off the map, allowing Wilmington College to capture the objective. The enemy team responded by eliminating risenphoenix and deerbones, regaining control at 37 percent. pinky, playing Orisa, secured a low-health elimination to maintain frontline presence. nunejpg used Kiriko’s ultimate to help angeliceron secure an elimination and retake the point. However, the enemy team answered with a Zarya ultimate that resulted in a team wipe and control at 54 percent. In the following fight, pinky fell first, angeliceron secured an elimination before being flanked, and risenphoenix, pinky, and deerbones were eliminated by a flanking Reaper ultimate. Wilmington College dropped the first round, 0-1.
In Round 2, the enemy team secured the point first. nunejpg was eliminated early, followed by risenphoenix, pinky, and angeliceron, putting Wilmington on the defensive. pinky used Zarya’s ultimate to secure two eliminations alongside angeliceron, but the enemy answered with three eliminations and a team wipe. A Kiriko ultimate was used in an attempt to retake the objective, but it was shut down by another flanking Reaper ultimate, resulting in a second team wipe. Wilmington College fell in Game 1 with a final score of 0-2.
Game 2 – King’s Row
pinky opened aggressively with an early elimination but was quickly shut down. angeliceron was eliminated by an enemy Sojourn, and Wilmington struggled to stabilize. nunejpg used Nano Boost on pinky, helping secure two eliminations and swing momentum. angeliceron and deerbones shut down an enemy touch attempt to give Wilmington the first point of the game. The team pushed the payload halfway before the enemy regrouped, secured three eliminations, and forced a retreat. The opposition later used Nano Boost to earn a team wipe. Multiple fights followed with similar outcomes, including a Ramattra ultimate that secured several eliminations and sealed the round. Wilmington College fell in the first round, 0-1.
In Round 2, the enemy team executed an early flank and secured a team wipe to even the score. risenphoenix eliminated the enemy Vendetta, but a Zarya ultimate locked down three Wilmington players and allowed the enemy to continue their push. Despite attempts to use Baptiste’s Immortality Field to stabilize, Wilmington College dropped Game 2.
Game 3 – Flashpoint
Wilmington secured the objective first in Round 1, but the enemy responded with eliminations on risenphoenix, angeliceron, deerbones, and nunejpg, taking control at 57 percent. A late Kiriko ultimate attempt was not enough to reclaim the point, and Wilmington fell 0-1.
In Round 2, the enemy secured early eliminations before the objective even opened. pinky answered with two eliminations, but a Zarya ultimate resulted in three eliminations and another team wipe. Wilmington lost the second point, 0-2.
Round 3 saw the enemy capture first again, but pinky eliminated Vendetta to spark a turnaround. pinky and angeliceron used their ultimates in tandem to regain control at 78 percent. Strong eliminations from deerbones, angeliceron, and pinky secured the round and put Wilmington on the board, 1-2.
In Round 4, early eliminations on risenphoenix and nunejpg gave the enemy the advantage. Despite key plays from pinky and angeliceron, the opposition secured control and closed out the match, resulting in a 0-3 series loss.

Call of Duty
Game 1 – Hardpoint
The enemy team opened strong with a triple kill and early control of the objective. Wilmington briefly captured the point but quickly fell behind 16-21. Momentum shifted heavily as the opponent extended the lead to 63-20. ATS SWEETZ provided a spark with a quick elimination to regain control momentarily, and later added a three-kill streak. Despite those efforts, the enemy reached 250-83, handing Wilmington a 0-1 loss in Game 1.
Game 2 – CDL Search and Destroy
ATS SWEETZ secured first blood in Round 1 and later defused the bomb to give Wilmington the opening round. In Round 2, Grinch secured the first elimination, and both Grinch and ATS SWEETZ added key kills, but Wilmington ultimately lost a 1v1 situation to even the score. The enemy team then gained momentum across the remaining rounds despite eliminations from Nyash_Warrior, Grinch, and ATS SWEETZ. The final Search and Destroy score was 2-6.
Game 3 – Control
The enemy team controlled the pace from the start and maintained momentum through halftime. Wilmington struggled to establish control, and the opponent closed out the game 0-8, completing the 0-3 series sweep.

Fortnite
In Game 1
The team landed at Painted Palms and looted materials and heals. Yuckkid was the first knocked, and Wilmington finished 17th.
Game 2
The team again landed at Painted Palms before rotating near Latte Landing to harvest additional materials. Yuckkid secured a knock, but both Yuckkid and Qookie were eliminated during a build fight. Wilmington finished 16th.
Game 3
The team maintained high ground while rotating out of the storm. Qookie was eliminated during a late box fight, leaving Yuckkid as the final player standing. Yuckkid was eliminated shortly after, and Wilmington placed 7th.
Game 4
The team won a boss fight and secured a mythic weapon and Chug Jug. Qookie was knocked during a build fight, and Wilmington finished 18th.
